The Main Menu

Now you have logged into the system you will see the main menu screen (Fig 2.2) which will display 3 options, unless you are an admin user in which case 5 options will be displayed(Fig 2.1), each of which is explained in more detail below.

Scan Asset

This is the main function of the system and will be the most frequently used, once selected the user can then scan an asset and recorded information regarding that asset.

Update Tests

The purpose of this function is to check for updates to the data set the application uses, and then download the latest information if changes have taken place.

Inspector Tags..

Again this option is only avaliable to administrative users and allows them to create and updata user/inspector tags.

Asset Tags..

This option is only avaliable to administrative users and allows them to create and updata asset tags.

Logout
